Three men have been charged in the fatal shooting of a woman who police said was robbed in North Memphis last month, according to arrest records.

Earl King, 20, Cortez Folson, 19 and Jutarian Malone, 20, have been charged with first-degree murder and other counts in the death of Samantha Knight.

Officers found Knight lying on the sidewalk on Nov. 20 with a gunshot would to her neck when they responded to an aggravated assault call in the 3600 block of Jackson Avenue and Kendrick.

Surveillance video from a car dealership in the area showed three men later identified as the suspects pull up in a Kia van. One of the suspects got out and approached the victim and the two struggled, according to police. The victim is seen in the video falling to the ground during the struggle and the suspects fleeing the scene.

Police said the victim was taken to Regional Medical Center where she later died.

Investigators arrested the suspects after they found the same van was seen dropping off a shooting victim at an area hospital on Nov. 9.The suspects were arrested Dec. 2.

King and Folson alleged that Malone shot the victim and robbed her of her bag, according to an arrest affidavit. They told police they burned the victim's bag after finding only papers and books inside. Malone denied he shot the victim, according to the affidavit.

A fourth suspect, Ryan Mobley, 20, is charged with attempted robbery, but not the more serious counts, the police department posted on Facebook.
