Man shot dead in Whitehaven

The Memphis Police Department is investigating after a man was shot and killed in Whitehaven on Saturday.

According to police spokesman Louis Brownlee, a shooting call came in from the 1600 block of East Holmes Road at 4:47 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene, he said.

There is no suspect information currently, and the incident is still under investigation, Brownlee said.
