Police identify woman killed in apartment

A woman found shot to death inside her Midtown apartment Saturday has been identified as Bria Issac, Memphis police said.

Issac, 28, was found at the Grace Heritage apartments at 1670 Monroe, just behind the Sekisui restaurant on Belvedere, a little before 8:30 p.m. She was pronounced dead on the scene from a gunshot wound.

A neighbor said Issac worked at a nearby Captain D's and didn't show up for work Thursday or Friday.

No arrest has been made in the city's 180th homicide of the year.
