Man, 30, fatally shot by robber, police say

The Memphis Police Department is investigating after a 30-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday morning.

Officers responded to a shooting call at 1:19 a.m. in the 3300 block of Woodhollow Drive in the Parkway Village area, according to MPD spokesman Louis Brownlee. The victim, who was not named by police, was pronounced dead with an apparent gunshot wound, he said.

An investigation shows the man and two other victims were robbed and during the struggle he was shot, Brownlee said.

Police do not have any suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing, he said.
