Memphis police have charged a third suspect in last week's killing of Domino's Pizza delivery driver Mia Jones, officials said late Monday night.

Earlier, police arrested LeAnthony Primer, 24, and Marquez Thompson, 16. On Monday, police announced that another 16-year-old, Charles DeWayne McClellan, also had been charged in the case.

Primer and McClellan have each been charged with first-degree murder, first-degree murder in perpetration of attempted aggravated robbery and attempted aggravated robbery. Thompson faces the same charges as well as using a firearm during a dangerous felony.

Primer and Thompson each appeared in court Monday. Primer's case was set for a next appearance on Nov. 28. Thompson appeared in Juvenile Court, where he was ordered held in detention.

Jones was shot and killed last Wednesday in the area of Joy Lane and Ketchum. Memphis police Lt. Karen Rudolph said Jones was shot as she tried to drive away after a robbery attempt. She crashed her 2016 Toyota Corolla into a guardrail near Airways Boulevard and Ketchum Road behind Church's Chicken, and later died after she was transported to Regional Medical Center.
