Two suspects have been arrested in connection to the slaying of Shelby County Schools music teacher Christopher Waters, Memphis' 214th homicide victim.

Memphis Police Department spokeswoman Lt. Karen Rudolph said in an email that officers responded to a call in the 5400 block of Pipers Gap in Raleigh Friday morning, where they found Waters unresponsive in his home with an apparent gunshot wound. A  preliminary investigation revealed the incident may have been a home invasion, she said.
