November injuries lead to 216th homicide

A man died last week from injuries sustained in Memphis in November, marking the city's 216th homicide.

Memphis police said the man was injured at 120 N. Willett St. on Nov. 18. Officers discovered a man lying on the floor with a laceration. He was originally in noncritical condition but was transported to Regional Medical Center, according to a release. But on Saturday, police were notified the man had died from his injuries.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
