Police arrest suspect in Frayser homicide

Memphis police have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old woman in Frayser in December, officials said.

Jocquez Parham has been charged with first-degree murder and six counts of attempted first-degree murder in the Dec. 7 homicide of Ronevia Williams. No bond had been set Wednesday.

According to police, the incident happened a little after 1 p.m. in the 1900 block of The Oaks near Overton Crossing. Williams died on the scene while two other victims were hospitalized in noncritical condition.
