Suspects charged in two of three fatal Memphis shootings overnight

Memphis police charged murder suspects Sunday in two of three fatal shootings that occurred within 11 hours overnight.

Brandon Freeman, 24, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in a homicide Saturday evening in the 4300 block of East Wind Drive in the Faronia Square Apartments.

Freeman was accused in the death of his girlfriend Keosha Miller, 22, who was three months pregnant, according to a police affidavit.

Police responded to the call in Whitehaven at 6:59 p.m. Saturday.

In another shooting, in the 3200 block of  Allison Avenue in Binghamton, Jatarius Crump 25, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and other offenses.

Jimmy Walker, 43, was found dead on Allison at 11:43 p.m. Saturday.

Another victim was transported from Allison to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition and was later upgraded to non-critical. Police were searching for a known suspect who fled.

A third shooting occurred about 5:20 a.m. Sunday at 2900 block of Elbert Drive in Frayser.

Police found a male dead, inside his vehicle.

Police said two males were seen running from the scene.
