Woman found dead in apartment victim of homicide, Memphis police say

Memphis police have determined that a woman found dead in a Memphis apartment Tuesday night was the victim of a homicide.

The 31-year old was found at 170 N. Hollywood around 5:15 p.m. Authorities determined that she had been stabbed to death.

Police believe the victim knew her killer, but no arrests have been made. Police have not identified the woman.

This marks the 10th homicide of 2017.
