Teen charged in fatal stabbing of boyfriend

An 18-year-old woman has been charged in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend Monday during a domestic incident, Memphis police said.

Destiny Garner-White has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 47-year-old Torey Reginald Taylor-Gillard.

Police responded to a domestic incident around 3:10 p.m. at a home in the 4100 block of Maumee Street, off Raines Road and Weaver in the Westwood area. Authorities allege Taylor-Gillard was stabbed during a domestic altercation with Garner-White.

Taylor-Gillard was taken to the Regional Medical Center where he later died.

Garner-White was taken into the custody and remains in jail on no bond.
