2 men killed in separate shootings overnight in Southeast Memphis, South Memphis

Memphis police were investigating a shooting after a man was found dead at the Twin Oaks Townhomes Monday night. 

Officers responded to a shooting call at 10:15 p.m. in the 3600 block of W. Winchester Square off Outland Road in Southeast Memphis. A man was pronounced dead on the scene. 

In a separate incident, Monday night, police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Kerr in South Memphis. Officers responded at 9:52 p.m. and the man was transported to Regional Medical Center where he later died. 

"The female suspect was known to the victim," MPD posted on Twitter. "The suspect shot the victim after a verbal altercation & fled the scene in a burgundy Infiniti."

The names and ages of the victims had not been released by police.
