Memphis police investigating 2 homicides early Saturday

Memphis police are investigating the deaths of two men in separate incidents overnight.

At 2:25 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a call from 3771 Graves Road in Whitehaven that a man had been shot and was in front of the door unresponsive.

Emergency personnel pronounced the man dead, according to police.

At 3:45 a.m., officers heard several shots fired in Uptown at 598 North Second. Officers found a red Toyota in the alley behind a business. A man found in the driver's seat with multiple gunshot wounds was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Both investigations are ongoing. Police have not released the victims' names, and no suspects have been identified.
