Victim in South Memphis slaying is identified

 The man killed in a shooting Tuesday on Chadwick Circle in South Memphis has been identified as 45-year-old Lawrence King, police said.

No one has been arrested yet, said Memphis police spokesman Officer Louis C. Brownlee.

He had said Tuesday that the call came in shortly before 1 p.m. and the caller said a man had been shot by a known suspect.
