Man arrested in recent Frayser homicide

A 40-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Dominique White, who was killed on May 26 at a Frayser apartment complex, according to Memphis police.

Glen Anthony Rivers has also been charged with five counts of criminal attempt-second-degree murder and one count of employing a firearm to commit a felony.

White's grandmother listed her age as 27, but police have said she was 29.

White was shot in the 3000 block of St. Charles Drive at the Whitney Manor apartment complex. CPR was performed, but White did not survive.

A resident at the complex said her teenage sons saw a group of women jumping a man, who pulled a gun and fired.

Police have said they believed White and Rivers knew each other.
