A 22-year-old man turned himself in after stabbing and killing another man early Friday, according to an affidavit. 

Memphis police arrested Dino McKinney on a charge of voluntary manslaughter. 

According to the affidavit, police responded to a call after 3 a.m. at River City Heights apartments in the 3400 block of Metropolitan Lane near Winchester and Getwell. 

Police found David Dockery Gray with a stab wound to his abdomen. Gray was transported to the Regional Medical Center, but died of his injuries. 

McKinney turned himself in, according to the affidavit, told police he stabbed Gray once after an argument and provided the knife used in the crime.
