69-year-old Scenic Hills man charged with vehicular homicide involving intoxication in death of wife

A 69-year-old man has been charged in a crash in which his wife was killed, the office of the Shelby County District Attorney said Monday.

Donald Pinkston is charged with vehicular homicide involving intoxication and other charges in the June 27, 2015, crash. Peggy Pinkston, 64, was killed. 

Donald Pinkston was driving and his wife was a passenger in the front seat as they were traveling west on SR 385 near I-240. The DA's office said he lost control of the car and hit a guard rail.
